la Sartora
According to my hometown dialect, "la sartora" literally means "the seamstress." It's how friends and acquaintances ironically called me, ever since I decided to move to Milan to study in this field.
This nickname stuck, probably because it unmistakably identifies me among my friends (alas, there are no other young people who have dedicated themselves to this profession), and perhaps also because it balances my journey well: I left my hometown to go to the fashion capital, I traveled following red carpets and fashion shows but, for my people, I will always be "la Sartora".
This section, therefore, collects the work I've carried out in a more intimate context: sometimes small projects, perhaps insignificant to some, combined with the traditional Friulian lifestyle where frugality reigns supreme, in contrast to other, more complex projects, where the true inspiration came from the women I dressed and where I was able to put my skills to the test.
